The winter edition of the CHARRIOL LADIES POLO CUP, a tournament that takes place in Megève, Paris, Saint-Tropez and Geneva, was held in Megève from 23rd to 26th January this year, as part of the 19th Polo Masters. This event, initiated by Marie-Olga Charriol, has proven to be a huge hit among both the public and the players. This year, three all-women’s teams participated in the winter polo tournament.
For the second consecutive year, the CHARRIOL team triumphantly took first place. This sporting event is represented and overseen by Mrs Charriol who was honoured with the trophy cup, an original artwork created by international artist Yves Clement.
The winners were each treated to a special-edition CHARRIOL ‘Megève’ watch, embellished with a strap crafted from leather and mink. Each of the nine players were also rewarded for their participation in the event and received a selection of gifts from the CHARRIOL Maison, all in the brand’s hallmark plum colour.
The public turned out in force to support the magnificent tournaments, which took place on a perfect snowy terrain. A handful of special guests were also invited to sparkling evening events that were hosted during the threeBday long competition. Our congratulations go to all the players who will be flying the CHARRIOL flag in Geneva this spring, when the second round of the CHARRIOL LADIES CUP takes place.
